Maj. Edward Dodge of Wash ington, D. C., who recently return ed from over two years service in Germany, is spending part of the holidays in Tryon with his mother, Mrs. Lucy W. Dodge, at the Twin Gates on Melrose Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T. Greg orie of Greenville, S.. C., spent the Christmas weekend in Tryon with their daughter, Mrs. William Ashmore and family. Earle J. W. Pronger Jr. and Miss Patricia* Pronger arrived from Chicago during the holidays for a visit with their parents, Dr. and Mrs. Pronger in Colum bus. Mrs. H. H. Conrad and daugh ter, Dr. Elizabeth Conrad, of Winston-Salem spent the Christ mas weekend with Mrs. Conrad’s father, James B. Hester and her uncle, B. L. Ballenger, N.
